We rented Carl's Tesla for a trip of Auckland to Wellington return. The car was fantastic and Carl's representatives were the friendliest, most enthusiastic people. We enjoyed the trip a lot and the car had no trouble making the ~1500km trip over a weekend.
Definitely recommended if you have not experienced an EV.

Overall loved the car quite and powerfull perfect for road trips especially with engine breaking although the technology takes some getting used to. Carl was great organizing airport pickup and dropoff would definitely hire the car again :)
