I had a really negative experience dealing with the owner of a car rental company who was dishonest and unscrupulous. He falsely charged me an additional 150 NZD for supposedly exceeding the mileage limit, despite the fact that the rental advertisement clearly stated that there was no limit on the mileage. It's obvious to me now that the owner is a scam artist and I would strongly advise anyone against doing business with him.
