We are delighted to be able to share our second home with you.
Our Nissan Civilian is 'easy as' to drive, is an efficient diesel powered vehicle that can be driven on a normal car licence.
She sleeps two and is the perfect touring wagon for a couple, or two travelling friends (either one x double or two x single beds); convenience, space, comfort and better views than you'll get from most any motel room!

h, and manual high/low ratio (5 gears in each ratio) gear box, the Civilian can easily navigate the open road, hills and cities cheerfully. Parking in supermarket car parks is a breeze.
This easy to drive vehicle is fully self-contained with all the amenities you need for a wonderful New Zealand holiday. Enjoy our mobile living suite which is fully self contained to allow for extended use without mains power. You'll find the kitchen stocked with cooking and dining essentials, hot/cold pressurized water, refrigerator with ice box, onboard fresh and grey water tanks, gas califont water heater as well as a 240V water heater, sink, 2 burner gas hobs with grill and a bench top oven. There is a separate inside shower/toilet and hand basin with vanity and comfortable seating in the cab and living quarters. It has a great bluetooth entertainment system with CD and a TV/DVD with satellite dish. There is a wall heater for the cold winter days/nights or use it as a fan for the warmer summer days/nights.
There are freshly laundered towels, linen and bedding, including pillows, pillow cases, and blankets.
Fully loaded to discover the best New Zealand has to offer. Fly-screens on most of the windows mean you can have windows open 24/7 on those warmer days without letting the mosquitoes in. There are security screens on some of the windows for added safety. The roof has been raised to make it a bit more comfortable for taller people.
The storage box on the back gives you extra storage if you need to pick up anything else along the way. There is even storage for the fishing rods.
The fitted wind-out awning creates a perfect outdoor seating area where you can enjoy the New Zealand outdoors in any spot you choose!
Our Civilian has low kilometres and is well maintained, and we aim to make your holiday fun and safe.

We are flexible as to pick up/delivery - please message us your needs or thoughts. We live in the Tauranga area, and don't mind coming to you, or you come to us - anywhere in the area. Auckland or Hamilton are other easy pickups however these will attract an extra charge. ($500 from Auckland, $400 from Hamilton- paid directly to Leanne & Kevin at pick up).
Note: If you are starting/finishing your holiday in Tauranga you are very welcome to leave your car on our property for the duration of your stay in our Nissan Civilian.
The bed situation in our motor home is made up of 2 x single beds and one of these single beds can be made up to a double bed. (1 x double & 1 x single). The measurements are as follows: 1 x single bed - 1800 long. This bed made up to a double is 2200 on a diagonal. The other single bed is 1750 long. The height of our motor home - floor to ceiling - 1820.

Nov - Feb (incl) - rates are $160/day $910/week $3700/month
Mar - Oct (incl) - rates are $120/day $699/week $2499/month

Please note - A Diesel Road User charge of $68.60 per 1000km applies, in addition to the rental, to be paid on return. Furthermore, we RESERVE the right to charge the extra in the SUMMER.
