Policy for managed service
Leaving your car with MyCarYourRental for managed service is managed differently from a normal listning on the webpage.
We don't charge a commission as you might be used to from a traditional listing on MyCarYourRental. Instead we make payment by a set amount when we get rentals for your vehicle. Your income will depend on a number of factors, from the type of vehicle you leave with us til the time of the year you leave it. Once you signed up your vehicle at out site we will send you an estimated income per day/week/month, depending on for how long you are travelling. As an indication, the following is the expected payout to you:

- When we rent out your car you'll get money in your account.
- Welcome back, we'll collect you at the airport and you head back home in your car.

These are the conditions for getting free parking:
- Your car must be less than 15 years of age
- It must have valid registration for the period of time you are away, else we will renew it if needed*
- It must have a valid CoF or WoF for the period you are away, else we will renew it/ change it if needed*
- Must be serviced and in good working order and be able to pass a Certificate of Fitness (like a WoF)
- You must be away for at least 14 days - you can still leave the car with us for shorter period if time, but there will be a $10 charge per day for parking if we don't get rentals.
- If you want insurance while it's parked at our storage you will need to keep your own insurance. We provide cover of the vehicle when it's on rent. (you are not obligated to have insurance on the vehicle)**
Conditions for airport transfer at no charge:
- You must book parking more that 7 days in advance.
- Free transfer is offered during normal business hours (8.00 AM to 5.00 PM weekdays)
- You must leave the car with us for more than 14 days
* If the registration / RuC expires while we have your vehicle under management we will renew it on your behalf. Registration will be extended for the period of time we administrate your vehicle with new enddate between 1-30 days after you return back. Cars used for rentals in New Zealand must have a valid CoF (Certificate of Fitness) and be registrered for rentals. You can organise this yourself before dropping off your vehicle or let us do it for you. We charge a flat rate for this of $99.- per inspection what will be deducted in your first payout plus change of usage (typically around $20-40 due to chance of ACC category). Please note that vehicle must pass the CoF test, if it fails due to minor issues we will get these sorted if the cost is below $100.- For larger repairs you will be contacted for approval. Note is a vehicle is not available for rent due to CoF failure you will be charged for the storage. Currently $10/day. Click here if you want info about how to get the CoF yourself.
** You are not obligated to have your own insurance when you leave your vehicles with us, however, all vehicles are left at owners own risk. We do everything possible to ensure that the vehicle is safe and our storage is in a fenced off area, however, we can't take liability of the vehicle when it's not in use. When a vehicle is on rent it's covered with no excess for the owner through our unique MyCarYourRental insurance provided by ANDO.
