Car Description

This is the smallest and most energy efficient vehicle in our all-electric fleet. It also has the shortest driving range at around 80 km per charge. It’s great for getting around the western half of Waiheke, but we don't recommend taking it on the loop road around the Eastern end of the Island (including Man O'War Bay & Vineyards). If you want to visit the Easter end of Waiheke we recommend taking our larger Nissan Leaf.

The first battery charge is included in your rental price

, so you don't have to recharge before returning the car at the end of your rental. We also provide a portable charging cable with a regular 10-amp plug for charging up overnight on multi-day rentals. It takes around 8 hours for a full recharge, so we recommend plugging in every night. Many accommodation places on Waiheke offer free recharging for guests and you can likely plug in most other places too (some don't yet realise how easy it is).
